Water Based Silicone OK?

Looking at the manual it says to not use any silicon based products on the rubber seals.

I was looking at the Einszett gummi pflege and this contains water based silicon. After asking Einszett about this I got the following response:

Thanks for your question about Gummi Pflege and sorry for the confusion. Gummi Pflege contains a water based silicone. What it doesn't contain is silicone oil in a petrol solvent emulsion which can dry rubber and cause it to fail (ie tearing/cracking) down the road. Water-based silicone in a water based emulsion is in no way harmful. Silicone offers water resistance and helps repel dust.

So, is there any harm in using this product even though it has a form of silicon in it?
