wow 150 will be a hell of an organisation!
I 'd suggest somewhere around Luxembourg or Bitburg. Fuel is cheap in Lux and the germans from the Ruhr would also be prepared to com as it would not be too far then Lyon (700km instead of 300km).
We then could also combine it with the Nordschleife as it is only +/- an hours drive away
