If you have a decent relationship with your dealer with a few cars under the belt you should be able to get well below MSRP from the get go.
I hope ED will return some time in the next few years after COVID-19 is in the rear view mirror, but for now I am planning my first stateside BMW delivery in twenty years (5 cars). It sucks because I love the experience - it never gets old.
