Has anyone attempted this?
According to
www.realoem.com the the P/Ns are only for X3 from 06/2008 on, but the P/Ns for the Seat Back and Basic Seat that the headrest goes into are
the same for all year X3s.
The pictures below are from an X3 with this production date 02/2008.
Clearly showing that the Active Head Restraint was present on X3s before that 06/2008 Production Date.
