i am NOT suggesting that this will happen to these particular intakes. i have never seen them. i have seen this happen on a friends 997TT.
That's what I was asking about and no one here had any idea what i was talking about. Anyway i bought the Gamma intakes and I will do some testing of the intake pipes under heat, worst case scenario I can buy 75-90 degree 3.5" aluminum tubes with legs to insert into the silicone pipes and reinforce them for approx. $40 per side, still keeps the intake a lot cheaper than other front mount options.
