I find this hard to believe, may be true though it doesn't make sense. All LC's activate a different shifting allotment regarding torque / shift speed to get the best run times. You can tell by listening to the shift farts (slower shifts in D when not in LC mode)

But those faster shifts aren't they only for the first 3 gears? 60-130 are gears 3-5 so I don't see how LC helps it there.
