An interesting question. I would hope not given that these tyres are star rated by michelin - meaning "fit for road use."
I owned an EVO 8 a while back and it was fitted with some Yokohama Advans from new (which you could not replace once they wore out!!), and these were virtually slick tyres. In the wet they were very good.
My point is that I hope the michelins will be even better - the tread pattern is very interesting, allowing for water dispersal on the inside and then super dry grip on the outside.
If though they prove too dangerous, then i'll be swapping back to the originals until the spring track days!
