With all the mods, what happens when the next guy goes to turn it in? Is that an issue?
The 'coding' changes are not unsupported features—they are not *new* software features. These are features that exist in our cars in other countries but that are not enabled here, e.g. anti-dazzle headlights that have been the norm in Europe for ~7 years but are not yet ratified here. Ambient color changes are simply RGB values in a table that constitute blue or orange or, in my case, red—I edited the bronze RGB values to the triplet that constitutes red.

One software update from BMW and they're gone.

The IDrive controller is OEM.

The paddles are moot as is the ceramic coating.

The suspension is a set of springs and the OEM ones are included with the car (by me I mean). The spacers can be removed even more easily.

The CF interior wrap can be peeled off with the necessary effort as can the exterior wrapped elements including the grille.

So, to your question: nothing.
