Now that you mention it, there's definitely some 2002 Homage going on there. With that said, I can't help but think that the Gran Lusso Concept from 2013 also influenced the design. |
That was a beautiful concept! Maybe we'll get a hood line similar to that, but it looks like the prototypes are sporting a single headlight like the new 2er. These prototypes seem to have a very pronounced shark nose. Some members have been saying that maybe we'll see some of the future luxury concept in this, but I think that ship has sailed as those design cues are already in the current 7er. The current lower lip/spoiler is straight from the Future Luxury Concept.
