I have a hang tag I put on my mirror that says DO NOT WASH. Telling the service rep doesn't always guarantee it won't get washed. I have a detailing business. Try some polish, you can buy Meguiar's at any auto store and get some good microfiber towels. Squeeze some on your towel and apply it to the scratches. Work the polish into the scratches gently with mild pressure. Remove with a clean towel. You may have to repeat the process. Do not use compound on it. If the polish doesn't remove the scratches tell the dealer you want to take it to a detailing shop and do not let them touch it. They should pay for it.
