Just because everyone likes a good story...
After 4 1/2 weeks, I got my car back with the replaced engine block/turbos etc. After having the car for 4 days, it stumbled and shut off on me (3) times. I brought it to the dealer and they said they could not see any fault codes. They went on to explain that they contacted BMW NA and BMA NA was able to pull shadow codes showing that the fuel pumps were bad on the vehicle; 5 days later the fuel pumps were replaced.
Have had the vehicle for 5 days and it has now shut off on me (2) more times - rough idle, makes a sputtering noise when you press the gas after a cold start - fun times! BMW NA called me yesterday and offered me a reimbursement of (1) month's car payment but I would need to "sign a release" to which I politely declined and told them I already hired an attorney to lemon law the vehicle.
This has all been so disappointing to say the least as all I want to do is enjoy owning an M5.
