Curious to know how your C4s compares to the new car in regards to finances and more importantly, performance and smiles per gallon. I'm coming from a 18' panamera 4S and it is BANNANS how much more car you get for this. And my lease is about 500 bucks cheaper per month on the m5c vs p4s.
So hard to compare the two, 2 totally different machines, however I can try. I've generally have always been a BMW guy, apart from my '15 RS5 4,2 V8) and '19 911 C4S (bought new).

I was actually expecting more from the C4S and to your point, re: bang-for-buck, thrill/giggle factor per miles, engine sound, practicality, etc, frankly I didn't see what all of the 911 hype was all that people are constantly raving about. I didn't see it. (maybe the only 911 to own is the GT3/ GT3RS?) Granted I've never tracked the C4S, but have multiple water pump failures the 1st 6,000 miles was also a turn off on a car costing $145k.

There are a couple Porsche-philes on here that I've had this conversation with before and trust me, they did get their boxers in a bind over it.

So yes, even though I haven't actually clocked hours in the M5, I did track it at MTrack days at Monticello and test drive it a few times. I found both the sound of engine and the blistering Jeckle/Hyde persona of this car amazing. It seems to scratch every itch. Also, these options alone on a new 992 would probably cost upwards of $30+k. We also bought this car with the C42 as a pre-trade.

Hope this long-winded response answers your question lol
