I contemplated spending the $550 to get Wheel & Tire insurance but ended up going with it in the end. I'm glad I did. I've replaced two tires with it thus far and it's great not having to pay for them at the time. I have a $2,000 ceiling limit on the insurance and with my $300 tires, the insurance has already paid for itself and I've got $1,400 more in insurance. I recommend it.
