My first "nice" car was a 2004 Infiniti G30; thought I hit the jackpot and could not figure out why my buddy would spend more than me and get a puny BMW 325. Then one day, for shits and grin, I test drive a base E60 528 and fall absolutely in love. So starts the love affair:
- 2008 528i - off dealer lot got an insane deal - $400 a month nothing down
- 2010 535i - made to order white with brown interior - my favorite till...
- 2012 535 (F10) - hated the car - bloated, crap to drive compared to E60
- 2014 535 - still hating the car
- 2016 M5 (F10) - my first M and got a killer deal; visceral power. Killer deal again $770 a month with no down
- 2018 X5 - surprised my wife with a F15; she is simple and hates flash and says she liked her Honda Pilot better - whatever!
- 2019 M5 F90 - my favorite since the 2010 E60
