Apple CarPlay still is not supported in the HUD! I really don't see much use for either Apple CarPlay nor Android Auto when you have a really nice infotainment system like the IDrive 7 especially the Spotify App which has full support and I use all the time other than that what else would you need beside making phone calls while you're in the car anyway.

I'm using CarPlay now in my 20 M5 and when I use nav the directions show up in the HUD. The Spotify app in the regular BMW iDrive (non-carplay) will not show up in my car unlike my 17 X5M where using the same phone the Spotify app shows up every time. |
So you can use Waze and it show directions in HUD? Also can you select track from list in HUD? Because I see list of tracks, but when try to select its not work, just dont switch to select track.
