Why is your car sitting? I had my service advisor write on the paper work that car was safe to drive until fluids were in stock. Covered my ass and drove the car for 500 miles until the fluids were finally available. Had the service done then. I mean it’s a very unprofessional issue to be having but no reason your car has to sit unless Bmwna is refunding you for the days you aren’t able to drive it.
Same rear diff fluid thing happened to me with our x5m a few years ago. No one had it and we drove the car for an additional 2k miles before it was changed. The dealer put it in writing that it was ok to drive until they received the fluid.
