I would suggest that you go to the rear of your 135i after the exhaust has cooled down and pull off one of the shadowline tips. That's all you have to do, just pull. Then you can take a picture and post it. You'll see no screws, this is BMW OEM not Pep Boys chrome tips.

They're pretty tight. I had to bang them on with a rubber mallet, but if I really wanted to (with a little elbow grease and a lot of profanity) I can remove them.

Don't over think this--just do it if you want BMW shadowline tips on the performance exhaust.
