Thanks, 2nd question. In the old days when putting chrome tips on my E21 323i, or on the 325i E 30, the tip would slide over the pipe and there was a screw you tightened down to hold the tip on to the inner pipe. Do the black tips need this or are they tight enough. (or even too tight so they cannot be removed if wanted or needed, e.g if rust builds up)
