BMW NA reads this forum. They know it’s a major blunder but have not responded with more supply or an alternative oil. There is no oil magic. An engineer spec’d a bit more zinc, sulfur,etc and the supplier was caught off guard. BMW should have stepped up but has failed miserably. No 1200 mile service = No CPO and warranty questions. My M5 has been parked since April 30 waiting on freaking oil. Unbelievable.
