It seems like newer BMWs, M or not, are plagued by a larger than normal gap between the tire and fender. I saw a 328i E90 the other day that was obviously bone stock and there wasn't much of a gap at all.
Seems weird that an M car would need a drop - just curious what people thought...
PS - my 981 CS has 20' wheels AND needs a drop. No idea why this is the case.
