Congrats. The wagons are awesome and super rare to find. I was on auto trader the other day just looking at used ones for the hell of it and the resale value of them are staying strong.
+1

I'm also looking at them now and then for kicks, and resale values are pretty strong. May even get one to replace the F80 since we're planning to get a Newfoundland pup for our 2yo. Need that big boot!
Definitely gonna need a big trunk. A friend of mine has a Newfoundland and they are huge! Even as puppies they're bigger than my sheltie, and he's bigger than most shelties.

I saw my first RS6 a few weeks ago and talked to the owner, and as beautiful as that car is, he's already tried drifting it and it showcased typical Audi understeer, and the interior was very greasy with all the fingerprints, it sure is pretty though. Many reviews have been glowing about the ride improvements, and the E63 Wagon was just included with the rest of the E-Class in Car of the Year so it's definitely a top pick in its class. MotorTrend is also writing up a comparison with the E63, RS6 and Panny ST Turbo that should eventually come out, super excited to read about that one.
Have yet to see one in person, but they definitely look great from photos. I would be less inclined to grab one since it remains to be seen what resale values will look like, and people are *still* paying MSRP+ for these things, so it seems a pricey option compared to a lightly used e63 that I know will retain its value well. I'd grab a Panny ST in a heartbeat if prices were anywhere near my orbit (at least for the build I'd want), plus that boot is not so huge. Lovely car though. GTS would be perfection.

Yeah, we're basically getting him a pony lol. Things are gigantic. The breeder we're talking to has an old Dodge minivan, and even with the rear seats folded, one of the adult Newfies in the back is a bit tight...

We were thinking of buying out my wife's Macan, but she loves wagons too, and it's probably just not big enough for a full grown Newfie, so no we're looking at wagons for her too. Would be great to have two longroofs in the garage!
