[QUOTE=IanMan;24186585]I have dealt with some really shitty BMW dealerships, but also some good ones.

Porsche of Honolulu.... This is a funny story. I had just gotten done working on selling pharmaceuticals for the day. I was wearing a nice suit. I was a younger but a confident individual. I walk in and I'm standing there for quite some time waiting for someone to assist me because I was waiting to get info on a Cayenne for my wife. Eventually a very flamboyant sales guy walks up to me and completely snubs me. "Well, aren't you dressed to look important." My response: "No. No. Please stop." He doesn't take me seriously when I asked for info on the Cayenne. Eventually gets me a brochure. Escorts me outside after we chatted for a little bit. Sees my E60 M5 outside. Completely changes his tune. He actually starts to realize that he made a mistake. I gave him that look as I unlocked my car. You know, the one where you just want someone to know they fucked up. Hilarious. I spun tires the entire way as I drove past the dealership leaving a cloud of smoke.

I would've gone and found the sales manager of GM of the dealership and told them what an asshat that salesman was, and depending on the treatment I got from him I may have continued to do business with him for the Cayenne, now I am assuming that there wasn't another Porsche dealership in Honolulu. If there was I'd be heading over there to do my business.

I had a similar situation with a bank when i was young. I'd just moved to a small town with only one bank, I opened an account and got a credit card etc. I decided to buy a new car back in Toronto but went to the small town bank for the loan. The manager blew me off and treated me like crap. So I called my old banker in Toronto, got the loan over the phone and showed up with my new car the following week to deposit my pay check at the new bank. The idiot bank manager had the balls to ask me where I got the money. That bank has lost an awful lot of business from me over the last 30 years. I still have that credit card account and when ever I get a call from them (they are a major bank in Canada) I decline and tell them the story. The point is customer service is something businesses need to take seriously.
