My stock answer to these threads : there are good and shitty dealers/companies/salespeople/human beings. No marque has a monopoly on either.
We consumers today have two options - find a salesperson and dealer that treats you fairly and well, and give them your repeat business, I.e. buy the seller (and the long term relationship). Trade-off is that you won't always get the best deal off any single transaction
Or...treat it like a commodity transaction and the best deal gets your business. And just be prepared for wildly diverging buying experiences each time.
Neither approach is wrong!
