manual not clear on oil change after 1200m. service
Unless I skipped it somewhere in the manual, it seams that the following oil changes occure at every 15,000 miles after the initial 1200mile service. When I turn on my M3, I get service message of 14,000 on the front instrument display momentarily as normal. My Saab Aero oil change intervals were also recommended at 15,000 miles but I changed it at every 5,000. Don't 15,000 sound a bit too long? Is it safe for the engine? What are your thoughts out there??
