But you could just order the chrome pieces after market. I'm in the reverse boat--I don't need the comp package, but I'm having to pay out of pocket to wrap/replace all of my chrome with black.
BMW needs to do a bit more like Porsche where you can fully customize the car from the build (color of your trim pieces, blackout your decals/logos, do you actually want the word "competition" under your M5 logo if you get that option, what color to paint your wheels, etc.).
