Maybe it's just me, however, I could not tell a difference. I might suggest a better test.
1. Buy 10 different waxes from store, vendor, mail order, etc. Buy popular, exotic, carnauba, synthetic, etc.
2. Clean and clay hood.
3. Apply the 10 different waxes to the hood (obviously in 10 different sections).
4. Wait one month...no washing, no rinsing, no nothing (sorry, bad grammar - double negatives).
5. After 30 days, evaluate shine, depth, etc.
6. Wash hood and repeat process for another 30 days...evaluate.
7. Describe components of each wax and their specific role in protecting paint.
8. Publish results.
