I understand the car came with HK
I was wondering if you had perhaps heard the B&W as well and could compare this upgrade, vs that one.

Of course you can't compare it. B&W should be better since it cost you thousands more for it.
I personally never heard B&W. But I am pretty happy with HK upgraded to BavSound.
I have heard B&O in F15 or F85 though. As much as it sounds good, it is not my preference.
Too much high not enough low.
And it defeats the purpose of paying thousands for the upgrade but then you are looking to change the speaker to gain the low.
