I have Apple CarPlay so things may be different.

Today, I forget the exact menus but I think it was... Menu | Communications | Phone | Settings (I'll double check later and update) I had to deselect Apple CarPlay and select BMW Connect that then showed M Laptimer in the list of Apps in it's own section above the other apps. In the BMW Connected app it shows the GoPro app but it does not show in the car, yet.
