Not to mention you'd be staring at a CEL every time you drive it
Why wouldn't you tune the ECU if you were doing downpipes?

The amount of power and torque the S63 motor gains with a reflash is INSANE and now the F90 M5 will be even more fun to drive at insane power levels with M xDrive.
I'm not denying any of the performance gains. I'm simply stating the market for these seems like it would be extremely small right now.

And likely would be for a couple years
Boys with toys will play. Go check out the Porsche, Lambo and Ferrari forums. Guys are modifying them before they have 10 miles on the odo. Price of car is irrelevant.
My point: you don't play like this with leased cars. Which most of the M5 being delivered in the first couple years will be. I could definitely see this on CPO cars. And again, I'm not say no one will buy downpipes for a new car. Only saying market is small.

And I'm not surprised that the owners of those cars like porsche and exotics go online to mod seek out info and share information on forums.
Your point is that YOU don't play like this with leased cars. I have friend that put Airbags on Leaded cars with methkits and turbo upgrades. Lol
