I got them installed thanks to euro and Joe. Seriously thanks for taking the time for the write up euro and thanks Joe for the help on wiring and doing so much research that I could read through. Now to get them coded so everything works as intended.
I only broke two black rivets too which is a new record for me with interior panels.
My car is a 2017 540i USA car but it had 5 wires installed. It's a good thing too because the terminals I ordered came in a plastic bag and UPS crushed them in transit lol.

So if you have five wires you don't need to add jumper ? |
The 5th wire is supposed to be run from the BDC per BMW euro retrofit install guide. The jump method is a workaround that works just a as well.
