I'm an airline captain-- and by definition I'm usually gone a lot.

Now, we're both at home in lockdown in a small house. We're both Type A personalities who value our "alone time"-- and that's been taken away by the state's lockdown.

Additionally, my wife's up at 5am every morning, and I'm a night owl who likes to sleep in.

It makes for a different dynamic than we're used to-- which is very stressful.

Workable, but stressful.

So, marriage is hard, but the current conditions make it even harder.

We are like you guys...but the opposite. I'm the one who can't sleep and I'm usually up around 3:00am each morning. She stays up late and sleeps in.

But she's an introvert and I'm the extrovert.

But I am fortunate enough to still be working, so I am out of the house. But when we are there together for extended times, we know that each other needs our "alone" time.

For me it's the garage, for her it's her art studio.
