Before and After of Eibach + Koni on a Z4 Roadster

finally went ahead and lowered my Z with Eibach springs and Koni yellow adjustable shocks. Originally I had the stock non-sport suspension, which was comfortable, but not tuned very well for spirited driving. Body roll was apparent, and of course the large fender gap (looks quite bad with low profile tires).

After driving off from the shop, i immediately noticed the ride difference. The ride was firmer, cornering significantly improved, and body roll considerably reduced. The car does not nosedive as much when braking hard as well. I thought the ride would be alot more bumpy, but it is actually quite comfortable. Potholes and bumps feel like small jolts, but not jarring.
I have the dampers set right now to 1/2 turn from softest on the rears, and 1.5 turns from softest for the fronts. This setup feels great for street, and is definitly one of the best mods of i've done so far.

As for looks, the drop looks perfect. About 1 finger gap on the rear, and 1.5 finger gap on the front. The car looks much more agressive and proportional with the fender gap reduced. Measuring from the bottom of the side sill panels to the ground, i have exactly 5" of clearance.
