I thought perhaps that was the issue.....he had not waxed it in several years LOL. So would it be that the paint was very dirty and the polish mixed with dirt became sticky??? It looks much better now, but was not fun to do. I actually compounded just the drivers side door, and that was very hard to wipe off.....figured the polish would be easier but it was not, so we just polished the car and then waxed. Some areas of polish required using wax to get the polish off.
