I just picked up an i7 8700K, Asus Z370-e motherboard, some DDR4 ram, and an m.2 drive for my computer. Quite the upgrade from my old i5. I feel like games run so much smoother now and I can be doing so much more in the background without effecting the game's framerate.
I'm back to playing PUBG somewhat regularly after taking a break for a month or two while they got their S#!t sorted out. Back to back chicken dinners last night, and with the new processor I can stream for my friends to watch, and play at 1440p and still get 90-110fps. I am very happy, but my wallet isnt!
