There are some (questionable) threads on the internet that say the Focals are suitable for BW systems as well. If they’re the same size and BMW specific connector, I don’t see why they wouldn’t work. But BavSound has the connector and is the size (for HK systems) and it won’t work for BW, which leads me to believe the Focals would not work as a plug and play option for BW systems.
