My car has standard brakes and I find them grabby and hard to modulate. This is compared to the other vehicles I own, though it isn't terrible, it is not optimal. I find the steering hard to get comfortable with. The car, perhaps due to the AWD, can be hard to keep centered sometimes. The steering wheel makes my hands tired as I find I am putting more effort into the steering than I do in other cars.

Just my .02. I still think the car is beautiful (in the right color, trim and wheels), sounds great and is blazinglly fast. It does so many things well that the things I do find somewhat disappointing stand out.

This is the first BMW I have owned since the company went to EPS, so I am biased and wish everyone went back to hydraulic. Fix the brakes, go back to hydraulic and its a win. I still find the EPS to be a terrible compromise and that BMW doesn't do it the best compared to other car makers efforts that I have experienced.
