What most people don’t know is that the standard 488 rarely hits 15psi of boost, far from the advertised 20+psi
992 does have larger displacement. 3800 CC vs 3745 CC. Small but being precise here. They did lower compression, but did add bigger turbos (GT2 RS side I recall), and boost went from 18.1 to 22.5. There is also some additional torque multiplication going on with the hearing in the 992 as well.

Also Ferrari quotes dry weight so they are significantly heavier in the real world than they lead you to believe. Also not surprised they would be hitting different boost than claimed.
