for the square 101W it looks to be about 7300lb and for the 105Y/107Y it is 8400lb.

either way, it is far above the gross weight limit of the m5 at 5400lb.
You don't need more unless you are planning to pack and hauling a lot. Lol

For me I don't car for winter and have a very short drive. Sometimes I take mine two boys and that's all the weight.
