I stream flac without issue which is always at 16 bit / 44.khz (CD quality) basically. I then typically use the Apple Camera Kit usb cable and go into the Chord Mojo. From there, a line out can be gotten through the Mojo using a 3.5mm jack.
I'm not sure how to get a line in (Aux in?) to the BMW system.
