Yes, it is totally possible to get a balanced wheel / tire combo - higher speed rated tires and performance / well made wheels all inherently have better balance right off the production line and also if any inherent imbalances are cancelling each other, bingo. That being said, the probability of a reported "balanced" tire / wheel goes up as the tech's OCD "tolerance" goes down... added to that - two tires is even less likely. So, I would cover myself by letting your SA know, and then if you get early wear, etc then you may have some recourse? I hate to be a cynic but i could just imagine the likelihood of someone balancing tires and forgetting to do both fronts is a higher likelihood that two perfectly balanced front tires. My two cents.
