one session for the day should involve an instructor taking 2 cars on the track leading/driving as quickly as the first trailing car could whilst he observes you from his rearview mirror.... yes they are that experienced and would pick up your driving lines and nuances.

in my group of 2 cars, one of the other drivers was very green and apprehensive. IMO he wasted that time with the instructor and received some very unflattering comments. Whilst the instructor was honest in his appraisal, the other driver was visibly shattered by middle of the whole day.

so if you aren't a frequent track goer or in fact haven't track your car in anger, suggest you go out for a couple before the M day. you would get much more value from your free invite + $500? paid for the day.
