There was no way I was running 2 wires from the BDC to the trunk. I removed the trunk lid liner today to find out that I only have the 4 wires in the connector so there went that idea. While I am not completely opposed to splicing from one wire to another pin I figured a better way to do it would be to make up a little plug-and-play module without any splicing of the car wiring. Does anyone know the part number for the MQS socket contact? I am thinking it is 61131393724 or 61136931880 but not positive which one is correct.

This may or may not help
That sounds like a clean approach if you can make it work and find the right parts. Another option would be to use a T splice. Pretty clean and simply. I've used them on the same gauge wire on my E39 for tapping into audio.
