Joe-BMW33 was very helpful in sending over instructions and I wanted to go with the moving the 5th wire in the light connector and the BDC instead of jumping the pins in the trunk. Does anyone know the part number for the MQS socket contact? I am thinking it is 61131393724 or 61136931880 but not positive which one is correct.

That sounds like a clean approach if you can make it work and find the right parts. Another option would be to use a T splice. Pretty clean and simply. I've used them on the same gauge wire on my E39 for tapping into audio.
