+1.

I was running Mobil1 0W40 last winter and had a number of -30 degrees celius starts with no problems.

I am now running the Syntec 0W30 and my car seems to like it... haven't had any really cold starts yet this year.

Both have very cold pour points (like -52 degrees Celsius for the Mobil and something like -48 Celsius for the Castrol).

Both are top notch products from my experience with each... the car does seem to get slightly better fuel economy with the Castrol Syntec, I should mention.
