seems pretty self explanatory...
it says "show places to stop". i would assume when you put in a far destination in the nav system and you have been driving for a good amount of time, the nav system will kick in and give you possible poi so you can grab coffee or some food. i just made all of this up and i'm pretty sure i'm not too far off.
