Are you using app?
If you do there is also warm up timer, see what is set at. In this picture it shows 2min. It could be on 20 or more
If you don't have the app it shouldn't change to normal settings.

I do noticed more responsive with lower down pipes and also after the intake. Upper down pipes coming next week
But you also want to keep it in sport plus mode and RaceChip on race
