That was easier than I hoped it would be after reading the thread where some people seemed to fight with a step or 2.
I would modify the directions slightly to not bother removing the flex hoses.
Once you loosen the star drive screws on the airbox, you only need to tip it up a couple inches to get a flat screwdriver into the lid and pop out the charcoal filter.
