I drive 25 miles each way to work in traffic thats any from stop to 80mph. It typically takes me 45 mins to get to work in this traffic. If there were no traffic it would take me about 20 mins.
Just for kicks, I decided this tankfull I was going to stay out of boost entirely. Being that I have a boost gauge, this makes it easy to see.
Im now down 1/4 of a tank and have gone 92 miles. While this is much better than what I got before, its still only averaging a bit over 20mpg. To me, its not really worth staying out of boost and not having fun.
Is traffic taking THAT much of a toll on my mpg? Or is there something wrong with my fuel system?

Yes, it's all about the traffic. Dealing with the 0-80mph speed range and stop and go traffice sucks down the juice like a champ. I noticed a huge difference when I had to deal with that.
