I find it amusing how this discussion could be overlaid to the same discussions that happened on BMW boards when the e46 M3 CSL was released (was initially considered to be overpriced and pointless) and same with the M2 CS (which was thought to be just carbon bits on an M2C). History continues repeating itself over and over again with limited run BMWs.
