I think the issue is the starter. My starter failed around 145K miles without warning. Luckily, car was parked in driveway. I replaced with new Bosch starter SR0492N (SR0492X=remanufactured). I suggest FCP Euro ~$150 or RockAuto ~$130. Both don't require core charge/return. BTW, installation was a bit difficult due to limited access to starter bolts.
