Even if you got flagged for Engine warranty, they shouldn't flag you on EVAP warranty.
Have you got the fuel tank recall done recently?
It may be improper installation may cause that code also.

The car was flagged while servicing the evap code and they decided to decline service and flag the vin saying I had piggy back tune before. But the device was never in with the car at service. Also only recall I had was the coolant.
The fuel sensor and value was replaced though. Maybe that wasn't installed properly?
